CR4ZY won a three-map series against HAVU and are the last team to make it out of the groups and into the DreamHack Open Rotterdam semi-finals, where they will face off against AVANGAR
An ace by Lasse "ZOREE" Uronen in the first round of Inferno wasn’t enough as the bomb planted by CR4ZY on B went off. The European combine were quick to impose their will with a 6-0 lead before HAVU could reply. The Finns were able to follow it up by stopping a late plant, but CR4ZY went back to winning ways thanks to a great three kill round by Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo. Luka "emi" Vuković and company were finally able to take the half 10-5 after a dominating display.
CR4ZY took the second pistol round on their map pick, and went on to once again establish dominance, this time on defense, winning four in a row. HAVU managed to bring it back to double digits, but it would prove to not be enough as the European combine made it to 16 to close Inferno out.
HAVU made the best of the early map on the attacking side taking a 6-0 lead as CR4ZY failed to contain the Finns. They kept racking up rounds with Aaro "hoody" Peltokangas and Joonas "doto" Forss at the help, taking a 9-4 lead as the defenders could do nothing to stop HAVU’s plow. Having won out the first half, HAVU won the second pistol on a B afterplant, and despite winning the second round, were able to bring it back and go on to cleanly push the match to map three with a 16-5 on Train.
Dust2 started with HAVU winning the pistol round on the CT side, but hoody was unable to win a 1vs3 fast enough to defuse the bomb the following round, making it 1-1. Down 1-4, two solid rounds with the AWP by ZOREE helped HAVU keep it close as they went on to tie it up 4-4. Both teams then went neck-and-neck, with CR4ZY winning the first half by just one round, 8-7.
A fallen bomb to ramp from short helped Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov win a 1vs2 clutch in the second pistol round, and the second half immediately went into a back-and-forth between both teams. Down 11-13 Olli "sLowi" Pitkänen got a big two opening kills in A 5vs5 A afterplant to keep the match close going into the last rounds. It was ultimately the European combine on the defense that were able to take the win, 16-12, to qualify for the DreamHack Open Rotterdam semi-finals.
